Welcome to our site ...  As a lifetime and 3rd generation pigeon flyer I'm just as excited today about racing and breeding as I was when I was a young boy with my first pigeons. Please feel free to explore our site, and discover a little about the history and background of our wonderful journey in the great sport of pigeon racing.
We presently breed from 100% Janssen Brothers of Arendonk pigeons. We have four children bred directly from pigeons that were banded by the brothers themselves. We also have a wonderful selection of Janssens a little further removed, but still 100% pure. This family is magnificent in every way!  We also breed from a Janssen based family of Serge Van Elsacker Pigeons that possess a dominating power and intelligence.  Our Pigeons will easily pass the test of the most discriminating fanciers anywhere.  The raw strength, intelligence, muscle, and feather quality of our stock is simply 2nd to none!
We are committed to keeping our Janssens of Arendonk pure, especially since the the lofts at Schoolstraat are now empty, and the last of the "Original Janssens" have been sold at auction. There has never been a strain of pigeons more dominant in our sport. The fame of the Janssens has touched the four corners of the globe. Our hope is that we can maintain a little piece of that magic, and keep the heart and soul of this great family alive in the 21st Century.
***On May 13 2012 the last of the Janssen Brothers original stock was sold at auction via PIPA. The final sale was phenomenal ! As expected the 26 final pigeons went for staggering prices. There were 20 lots in the auction (with six being doubled because of old age or no bands). Each lot averaged $27,000. !!  USD. (this average more than doubled the existing world record!)  The Grand Total of the final sale was $553,000!! USD. Almost every pigeon went to China, with a few exceptions going to Taiwan. Still after 126 years the Janssens of Arendonk are the most sought after pigeons in the world.
Honestly this made me feel a little sad as well as very fortunate that I have the opportunity to breed from 100% Janssen pigeons here in America. I salute the brothers for their many  accomplishments, and their historical impact in our wonderful sport.  Who among us has not been touched by the greatness of their pigeons and legacy?  Dare I say no one. We are now working dilligently on an "All Janssen" page that will connect the dots of our original Janssens tracing the complete royal heritage of our Janssen bloodlines . The 019, Jonge Raket, Jonge Merckx, Raketman, Zoon Witoger, Afgekeurde...just to name a few champions in our pedigrees.
